I like #3 as well and thought I would practice my PP skills with it. A little sharpening, tone mapping and fake HDR for the fun of it.

i liked your images; i liked that cart image the best and since i am a fan of saturated colors, i really liked skyclad's edit on it
Please excuse me for making an alteration of your moon image, i thought there is too much of unwanted space towards bottom part

Regards :D

I am actually a fan of saturation as well but thought in this case less was more. I do like your edit as well.

Thats the beauty of aged wood like this. It can really work extremely well both ways. To keep with the less is more idea of your photos, the only thing I would do with that one is sharpen it quite a bit so it takes aways the softness and slight blurriness of it (Unless that was intentional)

2 is the best. But 1, the trees distract me from the building

Thanks for the input.

I took many different shots of the cabin, but personally likes the trees in the foreground. That is one reason why I put this one up for C&C. I wanted to see how my favorite compaired to that of the masses.

Here is another composition without the trees.

Thanks for the critique, however, though I generally like a lot of saturation, I think in this case, it looks to fake or "painterly" or the traditionaly over-cooked HDR look.

I do have one processes with a bit more saturation, but not nearly to the extend of your edit.

Thanks for the input, regardless.
