A few from this weekend for C&C.

I went for a drive and hike on Saturday, and here are three that I like, but am always looking to be better. I'm thick skinned, so I can take harsh criticism.

1.) Catalina Island.

2.) Another view of Catalina Island.

3.) The fires above Los Angeles, from Palos Verdes.

It was a pretty smoky day everywhere, but as the sun was going down, it made for some interesting pics. Thanks for looking.

Very nice pictures but i think they are a little underexposed.

I'd like to see #2 not tonemapped...

I like #3 but something just seems "off." I have no clue as to what and I wish that I could put my finger on it, but I can't.

I love the 3rd one. The sky is just insane and the curvature of the mountain side. Nice!

I like the 1st and 3rd the best, but the 2nd is also good. The 1st pictures seemed alive, almost like the clouds were moving and I was there. I like how you didn't center your subjects and used the rule of thirds approach in the 1st and 3rd.
I like how the water leads into the land on the 3rd picture.
I also liked the balance of the 2nd picture.
