I like this picture and I think it has a lot of potential. The only thing that is somewhat distracting to me (and takes away from the picture a bit) is the really intense sun light in the top right corner. If you have a chance to re-shoot this bridge, I'd try to capture it with a 'warmer' sunset. I'd definitely give it a try.

Well, I sure don't know how many options you have to change anything about your POV for taking this photo, but I feel it gets very, very busy right where there is the bridge. Bridge (opened) and buildings behind severely compete for attention here, I think, while all around it, the photo is smooth and quiet (also given by the lovely time of day on which you took this), but right where there is your subject, there are these many, many elements.

i was actually standing on our main street bridge ( on a friday night ) taking this, so hopefully there will be a chance to re shoot.
