I like you bokeh in the first. We only get a GLIMPSE of the "suddenly five" that you got there :D. Very nicely done!

Cool action in the second ... was there anything going to happen that you are not going to name on "our friendly family forum"???

And a bit of heron-choir performance in the last, eh?
You really put up position there and remained immobile for two whole hours in order to get these photos???

Oh No :lol: Its an old saying in the UK about the Bus service, you wait 30minutes for a bus then 3 turn up at once

You're not complaining, are ya? Those are nice captures! I love the tall grass and flowers. Is it silly to ask what they were doing there? I always think of them as wading birds/fisheaters, yet in that third shot it looks like one is eating something. (And if these were taken at a zoo, I'm gonna feel pretty silly)

They were taken in a meadow which is next to the Hawk Conservancy and at about 16.30 they throw all the unused food in the meadow and within 10 minutes there are about 15 Herons, 5 red kits, buzzards etc etc etc all over the place
