A good cheap Zoom

i am looking for a zoom lens and am looking for advice and opinions. i have a t2i please help me i would prefer to spend under 200 dollars.

i have seen some 70-300 mm tamron and canon lenses that seemed good. but i would like to hear from professionals.

Well I am far from a "professional" but mine has worked out pretty good so far. It was closer to $250.00 but you can look around for deals. Just be sure no matter what that you get a lens with an image stablizer on it. Good Luck!

I second the 55-250. It was the second lens I bought .. I think it cost me 260 to the door, thats pretty dang cheap for this hobby and Ive got some pleasantly surprising, good images with it...
