Ok Hi Folks...

This is a couple of shots showing , I think the impact of a sky..

In Shot # 1.... no sky as far as cloud formations, so makes shot somewhat
In my opinion, less dramatic...

In Shot #2 .... pretty much same POV, but with clouds, you can see how
a sky/ with clouds can rescue a shot and add depth..

Both photos show some haze, but pretty well happy with them..

Moral of story-----> Landscapes require Blue skies and puffy clouds lol.....

Nothing is absolute. Living in a contrasty land of 360 days a year of sun and not too many of them having puffy blue clouds, I have identified blue sky as my enemy. :meh:

But then again, my buddy that has produced post cards for a living since the early sixties has the most insane collection of puffy clouds and blue skies at different times of day and orientation he can spice up just about any shot.

I know, a worthless comment, but I hate seeing a post with a "0" in the reply column.
