So after a long time of waiting for my Canon PowerShot SX130 IS to arrive it finally did. It's not a fancy DSLR, but it's the best digicam I've ever had and it's really fun to shoot pics now that I have full control over everything. (For the first time in my life)
So I went out the same day it arrived and spend the whole day after school with shooting pictures. Here are some of my favorites:
Thistle by NinjaWookiee on Flickr
[The thistle isn't perfectly in focus, but I love the bokeh]
Some dried up and dead flower by NinjaWookiee on Flickr
[I really like the blurry background]
Macro stone by NinjaWookiee on Flickr
[The cam can do pretty nice macro shots]
Syringa by NinjaWookiee on Flickr
[Should have used a slightly bigger aperture]
Eating Spider by NinjaWookiee on Flickr
[I love how you can clearly see the thin web, even though you could barely see them in real life]
Sunset by NinjaWookiee on Flickr
[I did a lot of shots of the sunset with a lot of different settings. I like this one the best.]
None of those pics were edited after shooting, except for the sunset, which I cropped.
So, what do you think? Come on, bash me with your expert criticism!
Greetings,
Matthias.
