A Little Walkway

Here is a photo I posted yesterday, but with black and white. Crits are really appreciated.

I was wondering if the levels seem ok in this one. Too much contrast? Too little? I'm not sure. Crits welcome!

I really like the overall shot but the sky is quite overblown. I think you could hold that back so it wouldn't get so blown. Or paint back some of the original sky.
Great perspective and I like the BW treatment.

Hey Matt,

You've got some great things going on with this picture, especially the tending to infinity - you've done this well as there's nothing pulling the viewer's eye from the natural (and physical) view path. The composition is a bit toooooo "horizon in the middle" for my taste and as Jon says the sky's a bit blown by your contrast enhancements. You could actually take a letterbox crop to the image and it would be a dramatic take on the same theme.

Good work though, keep em coming!

I think I see what you mean, the horizon is pretty much in the middle, where the point ends? And a letterbox crop meaning a lot less height but the same width?
