A local farmhouse

We had a freezing fog that morning. The fog had burnt off enough so there was a blue sky, but the fog that had frozen to the tree limbs/power/telephone lines hadn't yet melted.

Yep. The power/phone lines are an integral part of the visual landscape in rural Iowa.

Again, I guess it's a rural Iowa thing. That's just what everyone around here calls the place, so it doesn't get confused with the Jones family farmhouse on the other side of the road and down a quarter mile or so.

Beautiful shot, Keith. We occasionally, but very seldom, get freezing fog similar to that around here. I haven't seen in years though, and I miss it. There is no blue like the blue in the sky on a morning like that.
