Here's a shot of Vega from a couple of nights ago whilst I was setting up the camera with the telescope. It's not particularly useful as an astrophotograph but I quite liked it.
Vega is a variable Star which means it varies in brightness over time (magnitude 0, which is very bright!) and is 25 light years away.
By the way, the "star" in my new avatar is our dear old friend, the sun, as it looked like yesterday morning when it first rose.
You wouldn't have recognised it, hm?
