A must read for anyone who doesn't fully understand light (and for some that do)!

Here is a great article written by Dustin Diaz (who coincidentally was featured on Strobist.com yesterday). It gives a very good explanation of how "stops" of light relate to shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, but also explains a basic way to interpret the inverse square law of light and how the guide number of a flash helps you determine exposure. I personally got a lot from this article, even with the ton of books I've been reading lately, as none of them have explained it this clearly. Hope you learn something too!

Good read! Any one know of a book that show examples? Kinda like Joe McNally's books but more in depth. I am looking for a book that shows the picture and a layout of the lights and what the camera settings were.

Good link. Thanks.

No problem! I took some of the info and used it tonight at a local flickr meetup. It actually helped me get some good shots.
