Hello,
I'm Sam and getting back into the hobby of photography. I used to be an avid photographer in my younger days, using a Minolta 35mm with manual lenses about 15 years ago. Back then I was mostly interested in portrait shots.
Today, I use a Canon Rebel K2 with just the starting lens that comes in the box. Will be getting my second lens probably in the next month or two, which will be a wide-angle lens and later this year a good telescopic lens as well as a good tripod.
I plan on checking out many of the disciplines, though I find Landscape, architecture, some nature and B&W street shots the most interesting at this juncture.
I am also a writer, working on my first novel and work as a phone rom manager.
Looking forward to learning a lot around here on our shared hobby.
