A newbie

hello, I am new to this site, I love taking photos, it is more than a hobby for me, its a passion! I always try to carry a camera with me, because with children you never know when your next "kodak" moment is going to be, and they are always seeing things in a different light then adults. (anyways) I am trying to start up my own photography business, and ANY good advice, Ideas, or suggestions would be helpful, Thanks so much!!
