Yesterday I attended the press day for a Wings and Wheels show in Toronto this weekend. The main focus is on the 60th Anniversary of the deHavilland Beaver bushplane. Along with some Beaver time I was also invited to take a flight around Toronto in Air Canada’s first airliner a Lockheed 10A of 1930’s vintage.

We have a CF-18 Hornet arriving tomorrow so that will be the next bit of fun.

Thanks for looking,

Eric

that 10A makes my want to dribble

:hail: :hail: :hail:

Excellent shooting Eric. Diggn the shot of Toronna out the front window of that plane.

Awesome stuff, Airic. The 10A pics are gorgeous, and I also really like the shot you took through the cockpit (showing the CN tower off in the distance) and the shot taken over the wing of the downtown core.

[I looked for the planes flying by yesterday, but with the tall buildings could only see the helicopter hovering to take pictures.]

Yes, we had the CTV and City TV choppers shooting us. We are off again tomorrow morning to have some more fun flying around Toronto. Going to do some water landings in the Beaver.

The 10A looks like a big hit. Nothing is sweeter then flying in a 1930s era airliner.

Cheers,

Eric
