Ever since getting back from New Orleans life has been a whirlwind. I got a promotion at work, which has really picked up pace with summer coming on and some new equipment at our labs. As well, I have been trying to keep up with the aviation/airshow scene that is really starting to pick up. I try to plan shoots on weekends but since I don’t have a weekend open between now and the end of July it looks like I will be doing an air-to-air shoot next Wednesday evening after work. Never tried that before as I will have limited time but it sounds like a challenge.

Anyway, this evening my wife went out so I took what I know call a TPF moment and drove over to a local abandoned farm and wandered around. This is what I came back with.

Just a few photos for your pleasure. I hope you enjoyed my TPF moment

ahhh how awesome. TPF moments are the best, arent they? :)

i like the 1st and 4th best. great series!

Again I can't get over the fact how much your frames make your TPF-moment-results ("photos" in other words ;)) live. That close-up on the concrete pipe would be nothing without that frame!

Your TPF-moment-results are once more so good that it is hard to pick a favourite or best. But if I were forced to pick some "most appealing" (to me personally, that is), I'd pick 1, 6, 8 and 9 (hope I counted them right - a little number above each of them would be helpful).

I don't think I would be allowed to enter an abandoned farm-building here. It'd all be blocked off - not that there are many around, anyway...

hehehe I think LaFoto has frame envy.

Airic - these photos are absolutely gorgeous, but I don't think they are a TPF moment, I think they are a "Quick run out to the store and buy frames and hang them on the wall" Moment.

Numbers 5,7 and 8 are my favourites. I just love those building shots. But they are all really awesome.

Super shots, I enjoyed each and everyone. Happy for you that you have so much work lined up, as evident in your posts you deserve the work.

Thanks everyone. I really enjoy shooting and it will always be a hobby/passion first for me and a job second. That is why I do less weddings now, to much like a job.

i'd also jump in there for a handshake! good eye Eric on all these!

Great eye as always Eric, you consistently see opportunity in the ordinary better than anyone. I've almost given up commenting on your posts, as by the time I get to open them over here, there are alway at least a dozen glowing comments from the North American contingent so there's little to add. But to produce a series like this from a short stroll is incredible. Congrats on the promotion too.

Another awesome series Airic. When I see your posts, it is like taking a walk through the same buildings. Very well captured sir.

eric, these are great..as always... i love the second to the last though..that is really an eye catcher.....by the way, on number 6..what are the two iron "horns" sticking out from the wall.... i hate to sound ignorant..but i have never seen that before..its a great shot, too...all of them are... but that intrigued me...
