Those are old style disconnects, used to switch the power off and on. Also they are fused and the fuses are gone. The wire is whats called "BX" wire, named after its outside coating. Looks to be a 100 amp service I think? The main meter can is really old also. I would think it hasbeen added to a few times I can't imagine it is the origonal setup. Nice pictures, I like them!
