Seems to me a very important element left out of TPF galleries is contact sheets. Contacts let others know the thought process going on during the shoot. This certainly helps with better crits. Hopefully contacts will become a trend here.

This was a 1 hour location studio (that is a whole other story) 1 hour outdoor shoot. These are random contacts from the 9 that I sent to the client.

he looks really posed in every shot. not one shot looks relaxed,

Could be because the vast majority of the world is now digital and people can bearly remember what a contact sheet is. I certainly had a what the moment when I dropped a roll of 120 film for a development, asked for a contact sheet, and got back what looked like frames the size of APS and not 645.

But a good idea none the less.

Thanks for the comments! Contacts are super convenient because the client gets to see the shots and there is no chance of ripping them off. Plus like I say it is important to see how the shoot went.

Jols: we were not going for a relaxed look. More GQ.
