? about oly trip 35 flash unit

hi everyone, been awhile, recently acquired an oly trip 35....i saw a flash unit online, now, i can get the bulbs, but i'm curios.....what battery can i use to make the flash useable? i assume it originally used a mercury battery.....thanks for the help.....oh...i also picked up a Loreo Stereo Camera, can't wait to try that when it gets warmer here in NY....

The Olympus PS 200 was a common flash for the Trip 35

didn't say in the ad, but it looked like the one in the user guide....i think a CL (? )......slides into the hot shoe and uses AG-1 + AG-1B bulbs......ad says M026/JL4501, but i don't find any reference for those #s

Reading on a Flickr group that the preferred is the PS200 Quick. It uses 4 x AA.

if that's what they're called, yeah.....i can get those, i'm just wondering if i should order the flash because of the battery.......

the quick looks good, maybe i'll try that....the one i saw sits along the top of the camera........thanks for the tip though
