I would definately say that your photo here is an abstract!
It makes you look and wonder if the thing behind it is coming at your or retracting back.
I don't really like the noise here, and I think it may work better in color(if there was any color there to begin with) but other than that it's awesome!

I like it. I also think that if the bg colors were stronger (without the noise) that it would draw your attention to the bar. I like the placement of the bar in the photo :thumbup:
