Yes I do not know what I am doing.
But alas all hope is not lost on unforgiven souls, such as mine.

I have come to the forgone conclusion that I am not a photographer.
Through many hours of trial and error, I have failed at every single aspect of photography with a vengeance and fury that can never be forgiven by mere mortals.

It has been fun, and I have enjoyed my failures. Persistence is the key. I therefore vow to stay the course and continue to fail at an alarming rate, seeking, photography glory that I so richly.......do not deserve.

I feel the description and introduction to this picture was a bit more...entertaining....than the photo itself. Sorry. Just not a interesting subject.

C'mon, it is not the ugliest of weeds. Actually I quite like the reddish colour of the young shoot, only would I wish for that hairy "aesculap" tendril to also be in focus.

And the introduction is funny and shows your good humour. I like it.

I had it in focus , then I'd watch through the viewfinder as the wind blew.
No matter what, the pesky weed would not keep still.

At one point in the shoot, I could swear I saw the hairs form a middle finger in the midst of a 8mph gust.
