Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I am wondering what I should realistically expect for start up cost. I am planning on doing senior sessions, family portraits, baby sessions etc., NO WEDDINGS. I will probably start in my home and then move to a location when I get established. What do you think I will need and what can I expect to have as a total cost for startup. (Camera, lights, other equipment...) I am looking for grants and loans but unsure of what amount I will really need.

Thank you in advance!:hug::

A descent Digital SLR with 2 good lenses $1500-2000, need not be new!
a three strobe kit with umbrellas stands and case Minimum 300 watt each $1000-1500
A tripod $100
background support and background $200-300
Of course you could spend much more,or you could be lucky and purchase a retiring photographers system for a fraction.
and then let the assignments dictate how you need to grow.
Good luck and persevere!
