On a charitywork trip to malawi in early summer 06 (before madonna i may add) i took some good photos, but i wasnt recording memory rather going for photographer of the year. The one photo i would have thought to produce the least effective results, however, came out really well.

This photo was taken from the back of a decrepid, 30 year african old bus with the zoom right in on a very mediocre digital camera and my holding it above the heads of everyone in front, of a moving vehicle in front. One of those rare, precious memories too.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Your picture really brings back memories of the many hours I spent on the highway between Kenya and Tanzania around this time last year (made the 7 hour trip four times!) Having never been to Africa, the travel was fascinating, with all the day to day life one observes from the window. And vehicles crammed with people or water jugs was a common sight. Thanks for sharing this.
