Interesting format! It enhances your composition (and makes me wonder what the original frame looked like )... why is it noisy? Was it dark and you had to up the ISO?

Those droplets do add to the pic. A lovely, peaceful, serene sight. I like water lilies!!!

I never noticed the grain until you mentioned it but I think I have fixed it. I added a hint of film grain to the OP and I think I sharpened once too often. The original image was in the Olympus 4/3 format which does not always work for me. Being a video guy I find I'm drawn to that wide screen look quiet often.
