Hi all,

These are some pictures that I took at the St. Thomas Air show. I shot these with my Canon Rebel XTi and a EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM that I rented for the weekend. I wish I could have keep that lens :(

Awesome shots. Looks like a very good lens.

Really like the colours in #3, great shot.

(Is that 'glare' in the top left of the photo?)

I dont think these shots do that lens any favours in the being good department.

Good shots though!!!! Wish there were airshows where I lived..

Number 3 and 5 are the most interesting air show photos I have ever seen. And they didn't include any planes, haha. Good job!

Wow..Excellent pictures:thumbup:

I love airshows, never miss an opportunity. #3 is very cool, but I can just feel that Cxx transport. So big they seem like they are flying at about 25 mph. Excellent photographs. ron

No. 3 is my Fave. All very nice. You cut the winglet off in number 2. (Only reason I noticed that is I take a lot of aircraft photography for a very strict aircraft photos site, and that would have got me a rejection :-( )

The lens you mentioned is a great lens, but it takes time and practice to bring out its beauty, and as you only hired it for the day, I feel you did a great job!
