Airshow at Airbase

Had the chance to see the Blue Angels at Andrews Air Base a few months back. Managed to capture some pretty impressive shots of the demonstration team, as well as some cool shots on the ground.

Even to this day, I'm not sure how I managed to get this one. Simple, right place, right time, right angle.

Wow! Real nice pics! I'm especially fond of A-10 Warthogs since a pilot of one was gracious enough to simulate a dive attack on my M113 when I was at Ft. Hood. I'll never forget that!

I recived a copy of an Official US Air Force Training Coloring Book for the A-10 Pilots.
(No I am not making this up.)

They instructed the pilots to crayon the bottom of a T-72 tank red because you DO NOT WANT TO BE LOOKING AT A MOVING T72 FROM UNDERNEATH IT!!!
This is a very bad thing!!!

I shot F-4s like that about 35 years ago during a T-Bird show at Kirtland AFB.
