sigh. i need to get out more. i have found a new, better way to meter set shots though, so that is good!

heres a color and a bw of the same shot, a different feel i thought in the bw. any preference?

Not to be disagreeable, but I have to say that #2 and #3 are my favorites. Great composition. It's much harder to shoot interesting b&w flowers than color. Nice job either way. Inspires me.

What are you doing, beginning, that I, the colour freak, begin to like YOUR black and white photos better and better?

While I do not like conversion of the last flower pic that much, I do love the photos 2 and 3. Photo 2 is striking in its simplicity, reminding me of Japanese flower art, and 3 fascinates me by its clarity, crispness, AND again its simplicity.

The second one is my fave. Love the minimalism of it and the BW works very well.

I really like the colours in the first one as well.
All of them are very well done tho.
