Hey peeps!
Been lurking for a bit and thought it was time to register and share some knowledge.
Did the BFA gig (in the last century!) and majored in Intaglio Printmaking. Been shooting film since mid-80's as a serious amateur and finally made the plunge and bought my first serious DSLR.
then -> film = Nikon FE-2
now -> digital = Nikon D300 w/18-200mm DX lens
I'm still wrapping my head around figuring out the digital experience. My background was mainly B&W and Kodachrome for colour. I have/had my own darkroom setup for the B&W processing/printing. Colour printing was Cibachrome, but alas *sigh*, that's gone the way of the Dodo bird.
Still haven't decided what to use for post-processing eg: Photoshop or Nikon NX Capture. Looking forward to many comments/suggestions/critiques/fun.
