Can anybody ID this flower? Wild Rose?

the flower looks like a wild rose...but the leaves do not. So im not sure what it is

I can't i.d. the flower in the photo, but I can say that it's really nice!

The site I found is on UK wildflowers, but I still feel supported in my conviction that this one is a wildrose (rosa canina) all right.

That certainly looks like an Alberta Wild Rose.

A quick search on Google Images confirms this.
