I'm not sure why HDR is necessary for this photo. The only thing you might want it for would be to recover some detail from the sliver of bright light in the middle, but you didn't do that. It's still blown out.

I can see why the OP chose HDR in this photo. The doorway is now opened up to light, and along with the bench it makes the composition more inviting. I would try to eliminate that bright slice of light, however.
