I was crazy enough to go for a walk in this freezing weather,

I was tired, my hands were frozen and I had no money for hot chocolate...

I took some shots of all these beautiful ducks,

I know there not great but thought some might like seeing all the breeds.

It's hard taking photos of ducks that are 50 feet or more away while my fingers are shaking.

These are the worst shots I've ever taken lol.

You get to see all these on a walk! That's fantastic. The coot is about the only one of the bunch I see on a semi-regular basis.

The male Hooded Merganser is your best shot IMO. Though even being close enough to spot the common goldeneye, redhead, long-tailed duck, trumpeter swan, (I'm drawing a blank for the duck in #8), is pretty great. Do you have a tripod at all? I'd love to see a 2nd attempt if you don't freeze to bits taking more shots, lol.

There were even more different ducks but I was too cold to take more shots,

These all would have been ALLOT more clear if I was taking my time lol.

Numer 8 is a Wigeon, you'd think these ducks should fly south.

I also NEVER seen a trumpeter swan before, it's very rare.

Here's a video and these are the swans -

There was 2 parents and 2 youngsters, they were following me for food lol.

Thanks.

**EDIT***

Here's a shot of the younger trumpeter swans.
