hey everyone, my names akshay and im from mumbai india. im 25 years old. my dad used to be a photographer, he doesnt shoot now, but i still have his cameras, they are all slrs. ive been around photography since birth, both my sister and dad are both avid photographers.

im getting into photography too now, i plan to buy a canon soon. or maybe a sony nex 5 just to get started. dont want to buy any expensive stuff so soon. i can click good pictures and am the designated camera guy at all events. i plan to improve upon this skill as a hobby.

so there it is just a small intro. if any of you plan to visit here ill be more than happy to show you sites to shoot.

Welcome to the site!

Start out with the same camera brand that you want to end up with. This way all you will need to upgrade is your camera body. What SLR cameras did you get from your Dad? You should be able to use your SLR lenses on a DSLR of that brand.
