14-24 all day, every day. Apart from attaching filters, it can't be touched on the quality front.

If the Tokina 11-16mm is lacking detail, you're likely doing something wrong. It's not the absolute sharpest lens in the world, but shoot at f8, stabilize the lens properly, and get a shutter speed of 1/80 of a second or higher at 11mm, and you should see good results.
