Amazing camouflage

Check out this beach cricket I saw today out shooting. It evolved to be the exact color of the sand on that beach...it was totally amazing. Here is the full shot and a cropped version.

Coincidence that you posted on this old thread! I was at the beach today and found another one...but I was able to get much closer and got a better shot....I was gonna post it later.

Neat image. I never knew that there was anything like a "beach cricket", but then, I don't live anywhere near a beach. I am always impressed at how well nature can camouflage some of its critters.
