Instead of processing your RAW why not just use its builting JPEG file?

Granted this is losing your the bonuses of working with RAW, but for batch work that you want processed quickly and (say) uploaded to the net I think it could see some use.
It also allows someone with limited RAW understanding and editing experience to get a JPEG out of a RAW shot with ease, meaning that (if they choose) they can shoot in RAW instead of RAW+JPEG and get more shots onto their memory card
