And now...the turkey vegetable soup

After getting everything we could from our 13 pound Thanksgiving turkey, he is now in the soup pot, along with the barley and onion and carrots, et al, to make my famous post-Thanksgiving soup. It smells delicious and only has a couple more hours to go.

I think Thanksgiving leftovers make people creative.....what do you do with your leftovers???

i am lazy, I just usually make a turkey sub. The soup sounds good though.

I had no leftovers we went to some friends and while everyone brought food, there wasn't much to take home because it was devoured. I miss turkey sandwiches made with rolls, turkey, mayo and mustard. mmmm...
