You seem to be going extra-crunchy these days, but I still think it works with the splashing water.
There's very much to like here, I think it's technically excellent.
The trouble for me is that there's not much hierarchy here, everything's equally interesting BOTH in content AND in visual interest. The exception is the very edge of the upper limit of the pier, where there seems to be almost a halo. It could simply be that the clouds were that way. Regardless, that seems to be the point of highest contrast, so it does attract the eye a bit -- and it's one of the least interesting parts of the picture.
I think this might work well printed quite large, to push some of the extra detail away. It's very enjoyable in small bites, but taken as a whole it reads a little chaotic, a little confusing.
