Another Flamingo

Oh wow, nice and sharp. I can see his teeth ( technically not teeth,
but small comb like things called a lammelae)
I have never seen that before on a flamingo on a pic posted in here.

Pretty bad chromatic aberration.
What lens was this?

edit:

80-200mm f/2.8 shot at 2.8 with 1/500.

What happened here?

Thanks! I'll go with teeth since I'd rather not try to pronounce lammelae in public.

It's all over the subject.

^ Good eye, I didnt catch that at first.

Why does this happen? I'm new at this and my gear is pretty decent, so i'm guessing that there's something wrong with my technique. I notice it on some shots and not others with the same subject.

It's all over the subject.

What filter were you using on the lens when you shot that? The quality of the filter you were using then might have had something to do with this photo.
