i see what you're trying to do with the first one...i think its a little too overblown though.....

the second one id personally straighten out and crop the top a little to get rid of the black mark.

This is such a big improvement over the first picture you posted. it is great to see your technique evolve with the criticism from this site. The first one may be slightly overblown, but I think it gives your esp an almost heavenly aura.

As for the second picture, it doesnt get much more emo than that; I love it. The DOF is insane in that shot, what was your aperture?

The first one is, indeed, too blown out.

The second one is an interesting concept. I would like to see the DOF not quite as shallow, and a clearer reflection of the rose in the guitar body.

#1 is good. I like the look of it. I think it would make a good add for LTD.
The DOF on the second one is perfect because it keeps my attention right where it should be and not on the neck or the sound hole.
