thanks for sharing

LOVE IT! The curve of his widdle cheek against the dark background, and the way he's gazing off to the side, really make it an awesome shot for me.

I'm gonna catch up on all these photos I've missed over the weekend!

Nice shot Mom!:D Nice expression and very good exposure to get the skin tones with a dark background!

Very sweet expression!

ooooohhhhh ... those sweet little cheeks!!!

Nicely done!

This is really good!
I love it.
You should be SOOO PROUD!

GREAT GREAT SHOT!
What a cutie!!!

Once again, I agree with everyone else. I love the softness to it. Is that natural light? The only thing I'd change is I would crop a little bit off of the top.

Yes, this is natural light. I had him sitting looking out the window. I find that to be the best lighting source around! (cheapest too!!) hahaha. I shall take it into PS and crop the top off a bit...thank you all for the nice comments! Although I could use a bit more practice and fine tuning, I am still very proud of this one.

Just a point of order... this is a great example of LOW KEY portraiture.

Your absolutely right about it being framable.

Please! Not too much off the top. That space helps tell the story... he's just a lil guy.

What a WONDERFUL image. Y'all do just fine down there.

Yep...this would be an example of a high key photograph, right??

Well, no... not quite. That image is high contrast. High key would have a white or very light background too. ALL the clothing and props would be "keyed" with the background. Doing this in portraits will draw the viewer's attention to the subject, like a bride in white shot on white seemless.

Thanks, Cory!
