Hi,
I've been lurking for a while (as I normally do - it stops me asking stupid questions) and found this forum a great resource of knowledge.
I'm very new to photography. I bought a Nikon D40x on a whim a couple of months ago and have been thoroughly enjoying myself, so much so that I've decided to pick up a D300 in a couple months. I won't sell the D40x mainly because I'd use that for activities where there's a chance the kit could get damaged.
I'm originally from England but live in Zürich Switzerland so there's plenty of opportunity for some great landscape photography here.
