Before someone on here says it (And I'm guessing it would be schwetty...) I DID post a picture of a cock (rooster) and a ***** (willow) in the same day....

You all have dirty minds. Good day.

:)

Edit: Really? I can say Cock and the word sensor doesn't care? but not *****? (Oh, and here's the Rooster for those who haven't seen it yet... http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/nature-wildlife/278709-rooster.html)

The title of this thread is amazing. Internet censorship can be amusing at times.

On to the photo... You got the focus right, but I feel like the background is too distracting to isolate the subject.

If you wanna say 'pùssy' on TPF, you gotta get smarter than the porn filters.

PS: nice shot!

Sparky you could have quite literally said "pardon my french" :p Using the french grave accent to bypass the word filter....... Brilliant! :p

Thanks Natalie! I agree about the background. I tried a bunch of different angles; but I didn't really find one that was great. The tree (bush?) is ridiculously overwhelming! :p

Well that got my attention, bravo

I agree on the focus being good but the background is too distracting. With this, have you tried going B/W with a selective color to separate the foreground and background? Not sure that will completely work but might help.

I agree with Natalie; I think the foreground needs to be brightened up and given a bit more contrast, because the brighter background is interfering with the foreground *****willows.
Maybe some fill light slider and a contrast boost??? "Ya' need to do somethin' with it" to maximize its appeal.

Gotta agree with Natalie once again. The background with all those lines is very distracting. Not sure if the ***** Willows need more contrast, but they certainly need a boot of brightness.

I really like this type of photograph and I take a lot of them myself. Using PS I would select the entire frame and then de-select the subject. Then I would add an exposure layer and bring down the brightness and contrast of the background. Not too much as to make it look fake but maybe -10 or -20 will really isolate the main subject.

Good luck and keep pushing that button.

What do you think?
