Hi! I'm in Ventura County. I've had my dslr for a couple years but I still take crappy photos:er:. I turned photography into a pasttime, to give me something to do when I go on hikes or daytrips around town. I like taking pictures of landscapes mostly with occasional close-ups or architecture. I have a 6 year old girl who inspired me to learn how to shoot moving subjects. I will be hanging out in the beginners forum for a while. I would love any c&c so that I can improve.

I shoot with a Canon Rebel xTi.

I've picked up the following lenses, along with a set of standard filters (polarizer, ND4, UV) and a cheapy tripod.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
