As you may have seen or heard there was a protest in London surrounding the George Bush visit to the UK. I was there as a press photographer for my local paper and got these shots. Thought I'd share them with you all. Let me know what you think.

Another thing I found was that the protesters really didn't like photographers, one called me, and I quote "A Peddeler of fasist propoganda" I must say i was quite amused...

Very interesting shots El-Mariachi.
Perhaps you should name your bicycle "fascist propaganda" then their comments would be accurate.
As an ex-brit I know of the lunatic fringe element in the UK and the Socialist Workers party is a fine example but there's also still a strong anti-American feeling in the UK.
I was brought up with it and I can only think it came about because of some of the US's actions after WW2.
The Marshall plan was great for Europe but essentially rewarded the UK's enemies economically and the UK received none of the largesse, in fact I believe that it wasn't until the mid 1970's that the UK finally paid off it's war debt to the USA.
Perhaps we're seeing some deep rooted resentment of past policies rather than anything specific to current actions?
