Hi,
I am new to the what it seems rather large world of digital photography.
However I am looking to get my first proper digital camera.
I was wondering if anyone here had one to reccomend or give a review on certain cameras.
I am looking to spend around £300. I would like to take pictures of nature (close up on bugs etc.)
I have been looking at the lumix range and liked the look of the DMCFZ5
I would like a point and shoot kind of camera that is nice and easy to work.
I would also like the image stabiliser.
I would also like to be able to take my SD card into Boots and get my photos printed out on one of those kodac machines (gosh I am asking for a lot :D )
Oh yeah one last thing I defernatly want to be able to charge it up and not use disposabal batteries
Thanks, any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum,

Just off hand, I'd recommend the Canon S2 IS. It has image stabilizer and it's a Canon....but really, all those point & shoot cameras are very similar. Go to a store and see which ones feel good and are easy for you to use.
