Any tip's

im heading up to my cabin for a week on thursday, theres alot of great landscapes,rivers and ponds ect..., im planning on doing a bit of exploring and i was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to shoot those types of places.
i dont have a DSLR but i have one of the better non DSLR's lol,and a decent tripod with a small amount of know how lol

Shoot early and late in the day, when the light rakes across the landscape and creates a lot of visual interest.

take as much photos as possible in different settings. best way to learn and better chance of returning with great shots :thumbup:
