Anyone try this with their cybersync's?

I'm confused at something, He says he has a SB800 mounted on the Camera...which since it is mounted on the camera would work with Hi Speed Sync...so is the light he is gettin in That first image of the flashes because he has a Flash mounted on the camera which fills in where the banding would be?

I'm still kinda confused too. I was planning to get the d90 for high speed sync but it seems like you need radio poppers or pocket wizards to use auto fp unless you use all cls compatible flashes and stick with cls. I thought this was cool.
