Anyone Use iPhoto?

For years, I resisted using iPhoto because of the horribly incomprehensible way that it stores photos on your hard drive and because (since I originally tried version 1) it was really slow.

But now that I have over 5000 photos on my hard drive, I've started to use iPhoto as a simple way to organize the photos and easily view them and present them to folks.

I guess my question here is: Does anyone use iPhoto? If so, do you like or dislike it and why? If not, why not?

Don't answer if you don't have a Mac.

i have got iphoto, but ive only used it once and find it to be horrible for the exact reasons you state above, i hate the way it stores you photos, I have no idea where it is putting everything and why it has to make multiple copies of stuff. I prefare to choose where i store my photo and how many different copies i want manually when ive finnished editing an image
