anyone using the tokina 12-28

Seriously thinking of getting this lens for my
I use a 24-105 and find it not wide enough in a lot of my situations.
Thinking of getting the to kinda and selling the 24-105

My other lenses are now the 50 1.4 and 70-300 is

I use the 12-24 and it's fantastic. I don't have experience with the 28, but I couldn't be happier with my 12-24. I use that thing almost exclusively for my shots of my kids. It's dramatic enough right at 12

FWIW, I'm quite happy with Sigma's 12-24mm on my 6D. I occasionally use the Tokina 11-16mm on my 7D and it's an excellent lens. I've never tried the Tokina 12-28mm. It only has a few reviews at BHPhoto and Amazon however they are quite positive about it.

Ended up with a tokina 12-24 local for $200 in excellent condition. Couldn't pass that up!

It was solid when I used it. My ONLY complaint was the weight, but then again I now use a gripped 5D, so weight is a non issue now. Congrats!
