Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Here is a follow-up from my thread earlier regarding how to shoot under 'dress rehearsal conditions" (http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44619) Can't thank everyone who replied enough, it would have been a complete disaster otherwise.

Needless to say, I had many bloopers along the way in which I would find myself pulling out the instruction manual and scratching my head wondering what to do under certain conditions, and after reviewing each photo, I can see many things in the future I can improve on, but as for now, here are the results :). Enjoy!

My apologies for the large number of photos. Each alone did not do the play justice and even now the effort they put into Aladdin Jr. still doesn't shine through. I have many more, but I will try to keep it to the main cast members.

1. All 70 of the cast members (ages 7-15) had to file in and out of the science class room for make-up to be applied

2. I was afraid to ask how many lbs. of foundation were used. (The colour balance appears off, but I do believe it is correct)

3. Not only did they apply make-up to the face and arms, but to my surprise, every cast members feet as well

4. These two girls were having a ball. As the parents and older kids were in a flurry around them getting ready, they remained rather content to just sit on the floor and apply their own make-up.

5. The detail for each individual's costume and make-up were... needless to say amazing.

9. I can't believe these two boys. This shot was taken at 1/8s and their faces are completely still.

10. In the last shoot I had difficulty keeping people's noggins in the frame, this time it was their hands and elbows.

14. Sorry on the hands department

15. This is the full shot. It is too distracting that she is looking out of the frame so close to it?

16. Now this guy is the only person I know who has humor enough to wear this outfit as well as a swim-cap. Not to mention the wonderful blue paint.

Wow...that is some pretty awesome shooting. Tough to pic a fave here. They are al really really well done.

Hey, all of these are sooo good!
And at least you have come up with a choice!
I still cannot decide which ones to show you of the dance performance on "The Secret of the Dollmaker" ... and it's meanwhile more than three weeks ago they played that piece!
I have many where parts of the dancers'/actor' bodies no longer fit into the frame... I thought that would need to be part of the deal to photograph them while they were dancing - everything had to be so fast!
But your lighting is a lot better than mine in all of your photos here! Wow!

11 (for light) and 18 (for its dynamic) are my favourites.

Thank you very much for your comments LaFoto, M @ k o, Kelox, Mentos, Raindrops and Duelinthedepp :)

LaFoto: With all their dancing and moving, it is practicaly impossible to keep their full bodies in the frame eh? By the end I was pretty much just trying to guess where and how and when they would move, but I can't say that helped to much
