Area 51

I was wandering near Area 51 and I managed to get these photos before I had to hide from a patrol.

Through the fence:

A small partical actually melted the sand around it! I have no idea what it was and frankly I didn't want to pick it up to bring home and find out...

Alright, alright. I'm sure some of you guessed it's not actually Area 51. They are both taken in Minnesota where I live.

The first is just a train yard taken during some fog. When I looked at it I instantly thought of Area 51 though.

The second isn't actually sand, it's snow. And it's not some mysterious object, but simply a chunk of de-icing salt. I was out for a walk playing with my green laser. (it's soooo addicting. one of the funnest "toys" I've ever owned) I shone the laser on the salt and it gave the result shown. I thought it looked like some crazy radioactive chunk so I added it to the same thread and made up the story.

Thus the "truth is out there statement". Glad you caught that duncanp.
